Oooh, what i do is open it in paint and resize it there, I shrink it by 50% or whatever and then check how many KB it is
Wow - I hope this helps me cuz I have MAJOR trouble uploading pics!
Thank you!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another super easy fix ...... just make your largest pixel dimensions about 450. For example ... a tall photo would be 450 tall. A wide photo 450 pixels wide. They will always fit this way and load FAST !

I've noticed that some Bees have a hard time posting their pictures on WeddingBee, so in case you need help, here are the instructions on how I compress my pictures to post on the boards here.
<pre style="white-space: pre-wrap; word-wrap: break-word;">
Open the folder with your pictures.
Right click on the picture you want to resize.
Choose Open With -> Microsoft Picture Manager.
Click Edit Picture
Choose Compress Picture
Click Web Pages. Click Okay.
Then I would suggest doing a "Save As" and putting "photo name compressed". That way you preserve the original image for printing or whatever, and you have the new pic to post online.
