I haven’t posted in ages!!!!
We have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Piper, who will be 8 months this Friday. We got pregnant on our 12th cycle with the help of Clomid. We are ready for baby #2 and have been NTNP. My fear is that, even though the theory is you are more fertile after your first pregnancy, we won’t be able to conceive naturally. At this point we do not want to begin the process of temping/charting/ etc. I am trying to remain stress free and enjoy the “trying” aspect of TTC 🙂
Has anyone had a successful attempt at conceiving baby #2 after having a clomid baby?

My husband is a unmedicated surprise baby after his 2 older sisters were Clomid babies.

I first conceived with Clomid and hoped for the same with our second. No such luck here. On my first cycle of Clomid TTC #2 and waiting to O.
I feel like the common lore is that these couples who try and try and try for the first all end up with BAM! SURPRISE! miracle babies for their subsequent children. People love these stories and love to retell them. Unfortunately, I don’t think they are as common as they seem. So don’t beat yourself up if it doesn’t happen without any effort.

We’ve still just got the one (as you know) but I feel like it’s quite promising that AF came back without any intervention. I’m really excited to have another Clomid Mumma on the POAS boards! I’m really keeping my FX for you!

I am a post clomid baby. Mom and dad tried for like 2 years then a few months with clomid for my older sis then three years later had me without meds. But I do agree with pp, people like to tell special “I effortlessly got pregnant again after a hard first time” stories, not the “I had to use meds every time to get pregnant” kind.
