I am having some regret about the dress i bought a few months ago. I loved it at the time but the more I think about it the more concerned I get! I dont like that the bodice looks disconnected from the rest of the dress and it almost looks “mother of the bride-ey”. Do you agree? Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Pics of the dress below. It’s Paloma Blanca 4360

If that’s “mother of the bride” it’s a very young, sexy and daring mother of the bride!
I really like it – it’s certainly different – but whether it’s you depends on your body shape. I would imagine that if you had anything like a belly it would show in that style. If not, but you still have a bit of curve, especially if you are hourglass, it would look fantastic.

Here are some pics of me in the dress (poor quality because my mother is terrible at working a camera haha!) The sample was actually a bit small for me, but I have lost ~12 lbs since the picture was taken and am currently 5’7″ 123 lbs. I have a flat stomach but unfortunately a flat chest as well so I will need some sort of miracle bra or cups to give myself a true hourglass shape. Still can’t shake the feeling that it looks matronly and wish i took the time to try on more dresses…

My suggestion for typing the top and bottom together would be to put a belt at that line (you might have to remove the flowers)

I really like it on you. The mermaid style makes you look like you have killer curves.

Love it on you! So clean and classic looking. You will be beautiful bride.

Gorgeous! Not matronly at all. (Especially on a 5’7″ 123-lb body, damn!)
