That is really pretty! I love bouquets with dimension, like they're not a perfect sphere of all the same flowers. My bouquet is actually similar. It's going to be all purples and a touch of pink. It has hydrangeas, roses, peonies and lemon leaf. So excited about this part, I love flowers!
ah! I used to think the exact same thing about dogwood flowers and carnations, but now I've come to love the simplicity and chic-ness of them (all white). And, of course, their price!
Beautiful!!!
Those are my colors too, so I am keeping a picture for inspiration.
Thank you for finding it
I love hydrangeas. However, ever since I started teaching botany, there are very few plants I regard as weeds. Dandelions were delibrately brought over by the German settlers since they are such a useful plant. The roots have potent medicinal properties, the young leaves make a tasty salad and the flowers make a dandy wine!
I carried hydrangeas in my sister's wedding. My mom was totally horrified at first but ended up liking my bouquet the best out of all the bridesmaids. They look awesoms.
Love that bouquet! Hydrangeas are beautiful, especially when arranged just right with other similar blooms, this is a perfect example. I'm having something similar in mine too.

...And not very attractive ones at that. :) Where I come from, they grow everywhere, and they turn the weirdest mottle of colors based on the changing pH of the soil. It has taken me a good while to come around to the idea of them being something you not only would pay money for, but would even include in your wedding flowers. Now I'm thinking of using them to fill out my bridesmaids' bouquets, along with same-color dahlias. (LOVE dahlias. No flower-bride relationship crisis there.) Now I can't stop drooling over this bouquet that isn't even in my color, so I thought I'd share. The peonies in it are too pricey for my budget, but I love the way the dahlias look next to the hydrangea.
Anyone else have to have a complete change of heart about your flowers?
