Frosting and cake batter. Like mix water into boxed cake mix and eat it with a spoon of frosting. Its horrible but so much less work than actually baking

Bread, jam/marmalade and cheese for me.

@Holly77:  Lol I have to admit, I dip a finger into the vegemite/marmite jar (depending on which one we have) on occasion

I love dropping by the kitchen for a quick treat that requires basically no prep work. This does not really go together that well with my general aversion to buying preprocessed foods. So sometimes I’m snacking on something that’s totally meant to an ingredient, not a finished product. Right now nothing really weird, but it’s been weirder stuff in the past.

I guess my weirdest one these days is going in there to randomly spear a pickle out of the jar and eat it off the fork. Freudians, read into that what you will 🙂

My more normal-sounding grabs these days are plain crackers (and they are organic oat crackers, so very plain indeed: think particle board), hunks of cheese, and dark chocolate. Again… not combined with anything else in any way (like, no cheese-and-crackers, that would just take…like…effort). The key is the absolute minimal prep 🙂

@joya_aspera:  I eat pickles out of the jar like that too! I thought I was alone.

Occasionally a spoonful of peanut butter.  Just peanut butter.

Potato chips with herb and garlic cream cheese. You can’t really dip it. You have to kinda scrape them across the top to get any. I know that’s totally disgusting but I love it.
