So we couldnt decide between bubbles and confetti so we bought both… the question now is…
I really dont want a send off because I really wanted sparklers (Venue said a huge big fat NO to that one) our ceremony and reception are in the same outdoor location… it will be dark outside when we leave our reception.
So what I really wanted to do was
1. Shower us with confetti as we walk down the aisle together… The question though is…. how do we make this happen? Should we put a cone of confetti at every place? Should we just put it at the first few? SHould we just put a basket with a sign and have someone assigned to hand them out as guests are seated?
2.have people blow bubbles during our first dance… The questions is how do i organize this to make sure it happens? Do i just put a basket at the reception venue with a sign… should I put the bubbles on each table with a sign? Should i have my DJ make an announcment about it?

I would put a cone of confetti at each place with a note of explanation of what you want people to do with it or have someone hand it out after the guests are seated. The problem with waiting until people are seated is that some people are late and you don’t want that to interfere with the bridal party walking down the aisle.
As for the bubbles, I would have the DJ make an announcement while someone else hands out the bubble containers.

For the Bubbles, have you seen the Bubble Blowing Machines? I am in Australia and we have this chain store called Tandy. They sell a variety of electronic gizmos and gadgets. I was in there the other day with my FI and got very excited to see these little bubble blowers for only $25 each. You could set a couple around and turn them on and presto lots of bubbles to dance by. 🙂
I quickly showed my FI but he sort of poo pooed the whole idea. Typical Male. Lol. But I think it would be awesome!!! And all you would have to do is put someone in charge of toping the bubble micture up if you wanted them to run for a long time 🙂
