Confetti…yay or nay?

    check with the venue. A lot these days don’t allow confetti, so making sure might save you the decision.

    Does your venue even allow this? Almost every place we looked at forbid throwing things like confetti or we would have to pay an extra clean up charge.

    Is your ceremony in the same room as the reception? If so, will it get cleaned up before the reception? It would bother me if there were dirty confetti pieces on the floor during my reception.

    Well I’m going to go against the grain and say I love it. The confetti everywhere is a bit annoying but it’s part of the fun. I use flower petals when I’m a guest at an outdoor wedding, but for indoors confetti should be ok. As others have said, you’d need to check with your venue though.
