Allure 8800 is a sheath dress, so maybe that’s what you want? I got my Allure dress for less than a thousand dollars and the salon threw in the veil, too (not saying what style because my FI likes to mess around on the Hive sometimes).

I don’t have any dresses to recommend, but I think the silhouette you’re thinking of is called ‘sheath’.

Using that word when searching or asking for dresses should help you find what you’re looking more easily.

@maxfluffy:   Davids Bridal had a Galina that’s lace, strapless, and has some bling on it.  It’s $500 I think.

My SIL wore the allure and she paid just under $2000 for it.

I think the common name for that style is “fit & flare.” A softer, more gradual version of the mermaid look.

I think you’re looking for a slim a-line or sheath.

MS Janelle
Drama, sophistication and glamour come together in this gorgeous, beaded slim A-line gown. Sequin embellished tulle over Valentina Satin adds to the twinkle factor, while an optional Swarovski crystal tulle caplet drapes the shoulders. Finished with zipper over inner elastic closure.

MS Tamsyn
Subtle glamour and elegance is found in this fit and flare gown. Pearls and embellished lace adorn the bodice, sparkling with Swarovski crystals throughout and twinkling with delicate metallic embroidery. Finished with zipper over inner elastic closure.

Casablanca 1847
This romantic gown is all about the delicate lace, which is slightly beaded to give it just the right amount of sparkle. The strapless bodice and the sheath style silhouette just add to the classic beauty of this gown. The back of the gown features a lace train that extends over a shorter satin train. A delicate scallop lace trim along the neckline and hemline complete the look.

Allure C288
Reminiscent of Baroque embroidery, this gorgeous strapless sheath gown is beaded throughout with intricate crystal and pearl inlay.

I honestly love this dress which is a Maggie Sottero called Emma. This was a front runner for me however I didn’t end up going with it. I believe its close to 1,000. But check it out. So beautiful! Just a suggestion. 🙂
