So, maybe im jsut confused because i have not talked to alterations about my bustle yet, but my dress has a small train, i know i will want to bustle it after ceremnoy. Now do dresses automaticall have bustle “clips for lack of better word” on the dress, or does that have to go thru alterations? I bought my dress at davids bridal if that matters.
ALso, i would love to see some before and after photos of ceremony and then bustled for reference!

@Jen51287: I don’t know of any dresses that come with bustles already made in, I would assume because usually there are a few bustle options that depend on what look the bride wants.
Sorry I don’t have any before and after pics for you, I wore mine bustled all night because it was just too much to drag around!

Dresses have to be altered for a bustle. There are several different types. I had a french bustle.

@Jen51287 Do you have a pic of your dress?
I also have a French bustle (but I learned on the bee there are tons of different kinds). I recommend asking your seamstress for her best recommendation based on your type of dress.

My dress did not come with the bussles. I had eight or nine points added to make mine bussle. The lady that did my alterations did a great job because many people thought I had a removable train.
