- Wedding: June 2014
Hello bees, thought I would vent here because I am not sure what else to do. I got engaged this May to a wonderful man who I am incredibly excited to spend the rest of my life with. We are a great match but we are also in an LDR, I am in the USA and he is in the Middle East! Aside from a short visit to his country in December, we will be apart until the wedding which is in 10 months.
10 months to me seems like a long time, ages even. But I know that it is realistically not. Dresses aren’t ready over night and invitations don’t print themselves. But for whatever reason I can’t start getting planning! On one hand I feel like it’s too early, on the other hand, I can’t think of how to start. I think I am pretty upset at the fact that we are recently in a LDR which is making me feel overwhelmed by everything.
This is an intercultural wedding, which means I have to do a lot of planning to make sure everyone is happy. I am planning everything from the USA and the wedding is in Jordan, so that stress of planning from abroad is incredibly daunting. Also I am a full time student so my time is limited.
Bees, let me know…Am I really late? Do I need to get the ball rolling, and how?! I can’t seem to do anything other then read these boards and stare at Etsy! Please give me some advice, especially if you have planned a highly traditional wedding from abroad.
