I'm so sorry you are going through this. I truly think this guy is a con artist because ever since i posted my blog on here about him and my struggle with him, i have received a few emails from frustrated woman dealing with the same situation. We should take this guy to court. He has stole our money, our time and most importantly, our memories. I got married on July 24th and i gave up on getting my video. I called so many times, argued with him, heard all his sorry stories and i'm fed up.

It was 8 months before I got my video!!! My videographer was having a lot of family issues, I guess, but luckily for me she never blew off my inquiries. I was always informed of the status.
Hopefully your video situation has a happy ending!
P.S. It was TOTALLY worth the wait...the video is amazing.
I would complain to the Better Business Bureau at this point, this guy is ridiculous.
OMG, kareema. Thanks for posting this. I was thinking of calling him about doing the shoot for my april wedding. Thanks for the heads up.
On that note, I'm sorry that this guy hasn't delivered. I agree with verosara, complain to the BBB before he ruins more wedding memories.

Well, it's over 7 months since my wedding and still no video. Connor Gill called me about 3-4 weeks ago out of no where and told me that he felt really bad and wants to make it right. I got so happy and got my hopes up again but to be let down again. He called me on a Tuesday and told me he can get me the video by Friday. I told him to please consider what his telling me, i told him that i'm a person with feelings and i don't want to be let down again. I told him to look at his working schedule and figure out if he needed more time. I told him that i'm ok with waiting 30 days or 60 days but that i just want to hear an honest answer from him. I begged him to call me back the next day after he has looked at schedule and let me know how much time he needed, that i didn't care since it's been this long anyway. Well, he never called back and that was 3-4 weeks ago.
CONNOR, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, WHY DID YOU EVEN CALL ME BACK AFTER US NOT BEING IN CONTACT FOR MONTHS? WHY DID YOU GET MY HOPES UP AGAIN? I'VE HAD TWO WOMAN CONTACT ME ABOUT JOINGING THEM FOR A LAW SUITE AGAINST YOU. I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING BECAUSE I'M HOPING THAT YOU WOULD KEEP YOUR PROMISE BUT NOTHING. YOU ARE TRULY AN AWFUL PERSON. WHY DO YOU KEEP TAKING NEW BUSINESS IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED VIDEOS FROM JUNE AND JULY OF 2009?

Whether Conor is a lazy editor or a scam, he is incriminating himself by ignoring our attempts to contact him. We are now forced to go to step 2.
Anyone else who is waiting for Conor Gill to come through with their wedding video should send me a personal message with your story. My husband and I are taking care of matters.
If anyone needs Conor's number here it is 562 900 9711. If you need an address, message me and I will provide you with it. He is a scam. He has yet to produce a video for a friend of mine. He keeps on giving us the run around. Do not use Conor at all. Conor, you are going to have so many legal problems.

OMG Bees I'm so sorry this is happening to you, it just isn't right at all. I hope all of you get your video memories back soon! Someone should email him a link to this thread so he sees that he is messing up HUGE and he won't get any clients from WB.
I've been reading these posts on here and I'm just a little put off by them because I just don't think things are adding up here. Why would you register to a site to only post bad vendor reviews. I don't seems fishy to me.
If it is truly happening then I'm sorry.
It seems like more than one person is having problems with this guy... maybe everyone should file a claim in small claims court.
hey VINTAGE- who do you think you are? a wise guy? HE IS a scam. I was personally scammed and so were many other couples. He has finally been exploited through this website and there is more yet to come. If you think you're so smart and you know everything, call him up. Ask him to record somethin for ya. Lets see how quick you shut up after that. You should have a little more decency to not comment on something you know nothing about. If you weren't scammed, then how dare you come through here suggesting we're all making up stories. and MAUREEN- we all are in the process of taking care of things. If you read my comment above, you should already know that.
The scammed couples will handle it. If you have nothing to do with this guy.... get out of this blog then! If anything, you should be thanking us for a heads up and you should be informing your friends. Not slamming the people who are warning people so the same does not happen to them.
Whoa there meyrose, no personal attacks please! We've had vendors/others do it in the past, so there is a reason she wondered. You don't need to be snarky or mean.
Meyrose - I think the tendency is to trust our more established members... and be a bit skeptical of our newer members, especially if they are posting vendor reviews.
It's nothing personal! It's just that it's hard to know who to trust out there in the internet!
Btw though, I understand that you're upset... but please don't tell our community to shut up and have decency! She mentioned she was skeptical, but also mentioned that "if it is truly happening then I'm sorry"!
That's exactly how I feel... we all agree that nobody deserves to be scammed! I don't have all the facts, but would love to hear more from you about what happened. We are on your side, and on the side of all brides who feel stood up and/or cheated by vendors!
Hopefully, Conor Gill will also eventually respond with his side of the story...
Since Conor violated his contract with me, which was to have a DVD edited with 3 copies and our raw footage no later than 30 days after our wedding. I didn't pressure him too much because he was such a nice guy, a full-time student and we love helping college students out. He drank with us at our reception, he ate the food there. We welcomed him in. He mingled with our friends.
4 months later, still no video, so I e-mailed Conor and asked him how our video was coming along. He said he'd have it out in a week and apologized for the time. He "wanted to do a good job on it." That was almost 2 months ago. Since then, my dad and my husband have tried to call him/e-mail and with no response on his part. Ron (my husband) and i started to research the guy and found these comments on wedding bee! We were amazed to find more people who are still waiting for their videos who had their weddings even earlier than us!
Naturally, of COURSE I want to contact these people and find out more details! Because it's time for Step 2! File in a small claims court. But I couldn't message them unless I set up a weddingbee account. Naturally, that's why I only have negative posts is because I came here to find out more about Conor and these other couples who were frauded. I also wanted to be another person to testify about him so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. We actually did our website on "weddingwire.com."
I am sorry if I came off rude but after having been scammed and trying to team up with everyone else and warn as many people as possible... it felt like a personal punch that it was even suggested I be making up a story. It just added fuel to my fire but I am sorry. I can see why you would be skeptical since I am not a BusyBee or whatever.
Conor Gill made up an account called "Hitched". If he does post anything here, it would most likely be from Conor posing as a fake couple who used his services and were ever so happy. Even if Conor decides to post "his side of the story" on here. What could he possibly say to make this situation right? He has violated everyone's contracts and with months past due the deadline, failing to call any of us back or reply to our e-mails.
Advice for future brides and grooms ::: Make sure in your contract you have them state that you will pay the OTHER HALF of the amount due when you RECEIVE your video. Make sure you see their driver's license too. I know it sounds paranoid but, look what happened to those of us who didn't take that extra step. We have no footage of our special day. Don't make the same mistake.
@Meyrose: Hi, I was just wondering if you were able to get a hold of Conor Gill yet? Or have this problem been resolved? I can help if it hasn't.

It's me again. I just wanted to give an update on my video, what video, nothing yet. He called me maybe 7 months ago and he said "i feel bad about what went down and i want to make it right", again i felt for it because i still want my video. But, nothing, he is a scam artist.
@Hoodholly73: Please , I am the new victim!!! I got married on September 25 and told Conor I only needed the raw footage so I could bring it to Brazil and have it edit together with my video from my wedding in Brazil.
He was nice, kind. At my party he made contacts and even was feeded with everything as a guest! He is in more than 40% of my pictures!
Anyways, since then, he keeps promissing me to send the dvd or that the sent it out but I never get it!
I made a trip to Brazil JUST to edit my wedding videos and I don't have his video...
It is soooo frustating!!
What can I do??
Do you guys know where to find him??

I am not familiar with the law in California but can we all get together and sue this guy?
I know it will not give us our precious memories or money invested but at least it will avoid other brides to go thru the same thing we did.

Conor Gill Productions - What a Joke? If I would've done my research and found this blog I would've never have done business with this guy. He appears to be nice and reasonable w/pricing, but I wonder why after all the people that he's scammed online. I saw his ad via Craigslist and we exchanged emails back and forth and he agreed to do our wedding. Little did I know that this guy is full of false hope and promises, saying that it will be done and delivered shortly. Making excuses up that he had a death in the family, that his dvd duplicator is broken, and that he missed the deadline to send out the wedding dvds at the post office, so he would do it the following day. Though it's been only 6 weeks since our wedding, I am jumping on this right now as I see his track record with the rest of his clients. 
conor gill is now working as onthespotvideography.com and if anyone wants any info about conpor m gill contact me and i will tell you all about him since he used to be a good good friend of mine. contact me at geeigotsomemail@gmail.com and i will give you his address and his phone number someone already posted above. i suggest that people look him up on craigslist and flag his posts as spam overposts since he has multiple accounts and posts multiple ads. he is still doing this same thing to others on there. he has even screwed me over and lied to me as a friend.

No, he has not straightened up. Anyone coming across this who is lucky enough to have researched before hiring him, PLEASE DONT HIRE HIM. He filmed my wedding 6 months ago and stole my money and never provided our video, My wife is devastated.
@Meyrose: HI. I too was stolen from by Conor. My wedding was in July 2011 and he took my money and I have yet to see a video to show for it. I would like to get as many of us who were scammed involved and take him to court. I have a signed contract with an address on it. I also have spoken to a ministry in which he stole from this last October.

I think I beat the all time record of wait time to receive a wedding video. I got married on June 27th and am still waiting for my wedding video, 7 months later!!!
Conor seems like a nice enough guy but fails to call me back, text me, or give me a clue as to what the status on my video is.I merely want my video!
I will gladly remove this post and others as soon as he sends me my video: supposedly it has long "been done" anyway, so he should just send it.
Conor, call me and let me know what's up. I told you I was serious. I wish that you would respect my wishes and my patronage and stop the excuses. I want answers!
