I heard wonderful things about coralsbridal. I love the info on their website.

I bought from Dressilyme and noticed they created the exact same quality of my dress but for double the price. I can vouch for the quality fo Dressilyme and the customer service.

Either way with these two companies you should have a good experience.

You have great taste…I fell in love with the same dress :).  And when I found out the price, I started looking at tailors in China, too.  In the end, I ordered the dress from Jim Hjelm.  For me, it was too big of a gamble to order the dress from a non-Jim Hjelm supplier.  But, if you do order the dress from Coral’s or Jasmine’s I’d love to see how it turns out.

Have you thought about checking out used dresses on sites such as Oncewed.com, Recycledbride.com or Preownedweddingdresses.com.  You may be able to find the Jim Hjelm from another bride that wore it once and is now looking to sell it.

Good luck!

I bought a custom dress from China, but not from either of those retailers.  I bought from thecustomdresses.com  PM me if you want to ask me any specific questions!

I really think that you should go with Corals bridal. I heard such wonderful things about them and I loved their site. I think they are known for the best lace. You don’t want to risk a company with lace because I had a bad experience with that.

I also still stand by Dressilyme.

I now feel though that Dressilyme, Milly’s bridal, and Corals bridal are excellent for all materials. One thing I liked about them is their communication and their willingness to admit what they can and can’t do.

My experience with Dressilyme is so wonderful. I loved the chiffon material they gave me. The  layers of fabric and the added inside bra. I have chiffon on top, 2 soft layers of satin, and tulle underneath to create a fluffy look. I also loved the boning, the entire feel of the dress felt store bought.

So I am personally expressing my feeling for this company and their customer service.

I am going to order the dress form Corals bridal. I want to get a copy of the dress by Christina Wu (the original dress costs $ 1200-1500). I reserched about dozen Chinese wedding sites and it seems to me that Corals Bridal looks more reliable. I asked them many questions about the company, quality the fabric, how they would make the dress and I got my answers all the time in 2-3 hours. They even created the page on their web site with my dress and description of the materials for the coveniet order. They want $ 450 for my dress.

At the same time I found one store on e-bay (sexy-goddess69) with great reviews and they offer this model of the dress for $ 250. I sent them a letter with my questions and they answered me but without any details, they only said that they used good quality fabric, good handwork and something more that I couldn`t understand.

In my opinion, all these Chinese wedding dresses are gambling. But if you cant spend $ 1000+ for the wedding dress, it is worth to try. Corals bridal has rather good reviews, their manager Dai speaks good English, he answers e-mails fast, they have real examples of the dress that they make so you can preview the quality, they dont hide that they are located in China, they have their adress, phone number on the site, they have been working on e-bay since 2005 (but the same time they didnt sell anything on e-bay for the last 12 month, maybe they use only web-site now).

Don`t buy accessories from them! Prices are vey expensive, you can buy a veil or petticoat the local store in US for the same price.

Ok, girls, I think Ill try. Ill submit here the picture of the dress that they will make for me. I hope the dress will be as nice as their communication and don`t expect 100% the same as a picture. 90%  the same and good quality fabric and handwork will satisfy me.

If the dress will be junk, I`ll write the negative review with details  at every site  and on e-bay about them.

Wish me good luck!

I finally decided not to order the dress from CoralBridal. I ordered my dress at the e-bay store octubreco because they made the dress that I wanted before and their price was twice cheaper then CoralBridal price. I received my dress today. It is so beautiful!!! I am so happy! I couldnt believe but it looked even better then original Christina Wu dress! It is amazing! The fabric and workmaship is such a good quality and I paid only $ 313 for the dress! It took 6 weeks to get it and I was very scared that the dress would be ugly. But I turned out beautiful and it fits perfect. Pictures are not perfect because I made them myself in the closet, I didnt have anybody today to help me to wear the dress right and make a picture of me. But anyway you can see the quality of the workmanship. You can see the pictures of my dress at the “Has anyone purchased a gown from Coral’s Bridal?”
