@MrsNeutrino: I am selling a Jim Hjelm and an Amsale Tyler. I have them listed in the classifieds here, on OnceWed and one of them on POWD.com. I have had a LOT of interest but no solid offers. I had two people reall lowball me, and I just don't have time to keep replying to emails that lead no-where. I have sold online before, and I know it can take time, but I want to get rid of them so I can buy another dress.
hmmm is there a consignment shop closer to you where you could talk to someone face to face.... thatd make me feel better

Has anyone done consignment for a dress? I really want to sell these already, and I ended up in touch with someone who has a store in California. It makes me nervous that I would send them to her but not get paid till after she sells them, but she said I'd get a contract and we did agree upon the price I would get. I really just want my dresses gone so that I can move on, but I don't want to take too horrible of a hit!
