I was a former journalist and sometimes I think journalists can bee too assuming people's trust - I expect he would be legit (who wants to pose as a NewsWeek journalist and get caught?) - you can even email the editorial staff - I'm sure there is a link on the site, just to double check.

Was anyone else contacted by Newweek magazine via PM on Wedding Bee? I was yesterday - something about him wanting to interview me about the fact I have a wedding web site and what promted me to use them....He said he was working on a tight deadline, the story was due the mrning of the 5th, very early.
I e-mailed him and said I'd be happy to help but I would want verification that he was who he says he was before handing over any personal information.
He responded to me with he had to get the story in a bit earlier then he thought and woulnd't have time to talk to me via phone this evening. Thanked me and wished me luck on my upcoming wedding.
Fishy, yes or no? Anyone else get contacted by Newsweek?
