most brides use a tote bag, gable box, or a gift bag. The gift bag is probably your most affordable option, the tote bag perhaps the most practical, and the gable box, the cutest for pictures.
we have a great oot bag wiki that you should check out! ![]()
The link for the wiki took me to a page that said their was no info for that subject yet? I'm curious about OOT bags too, I had never dealt with the OOT guest situation before.
I have bought paper bags from Michaels and I am going to stamp our monogram onto them and a little message. They are cheap but look good and you can decorate them. I was going to buy totes but really how many people will actually use them? I am a very practical person, so that was my thinking behind mine
I used natural tote bags for our OOT bags from Ingreetings.com...the link is here:

They're not super heavy duty but arrived clean and will easily hold our snacks & drinks inside. We sent wedding coasters as save the dates (www.foryourparty.com) and will attach them to each bag with a matching grosgrain ribbon.
We're very pleased with the bags, though...
They make muslin bags in large sizes, and I was considering using those as my OOT bags, but I wonder if they will be too flimsy.
I went to www.etsy.com and put in a custom bid for my bags. They are paper but they don't feel like paper or look like paper. I love etsy you can bid you price and get what you want.
I bought plain totes from Wal-Mart (3 for $5.88) and then decorated them using fabric paint pens from Michael's & stencils.
Here's more info/pics of the bags I did:

I have a friend who is doing something similar for her OH wedding, with the word Ohio and an airplane on them. You could definitely do something like this for Philly - maybe with a liberty bell or the Love symbol?
It depends on how much you want to spend, but I've seen people do little suitcases (I think you can find them at paper source). The only problem with them is that it might be difficult for people to take back with them (space constraints). Very cute for pics though!
