Hi all - just wanted to share that a contest was announced for a free wedding in the Hill Country area (Fischer).
I wish I could apply but the timeframe doesn't work for me. They take applications until 10/31, and a winner won't be announced until Dec for a March 31 wedding. Since I'm getting married in Feb, people will have already made travel plans by the time they announce a winner, etc. Bummer!
So if any of you are engaged but planning on not getting married within the next year or more, it might work for you. It says they also take legally married couples who haven't had a "wedding."
It looks like practically everything will be free. the site is entwined2012.com. They announced it this AM on SA news.
