Contoured wedding bands — Anyone wear theirs alone?

I have a curved band and I don’t wear it alone. I think it would look super weird on me, especially because it’s plain white gold and doesn’t have any diamonds. However, the curvature on the wedding band you posted isn’t as severe as mine, so it may look a lot better alone.

I’ve seen a couple of curved bands worn alone by coworkers (no one wore engagement rings to work), and I didn’t think they looked too weird.  If it doesn’t bother you, then go for it.

I have a contoured band and had it soldered to my e-ring because it would turn and not stay in place when it was seperate. It just works better for my ring. (This picture is actually before it was soldered, though)

@southern_sweetheart91:  I really like the set! As another bee said, If it doesn’t bother you, get it! That way you have  the rING to your set for your ceremony.

@southern_sweetheart91:  Beautiful rings! I think it’s fine to wear a curved band alone. I don’t have one but I’ve seen it on other people. I think it looked really unique.

I really like your set. I’m going to have a curved band to fit my e-ring. I don’t plan to wear my wb alone. But, I don’t see a problem with it.

I think it depends on the band. Mine is curved but just barely so it’s not very obvious and I plan on wearing it by itself sometimes once we’re married. I think it might look weird if it’s one of the extremely curved bands, but yours isn’t.

i think you can wear a curved band alone, but if it makes you feel uncomfortable maybe try a curved diamond band next to a plan band.. that may work

Your set is gorgeous!

My rings have clean, obvious lines and my wedding band I think is more contoured than yours. I don’t plan on wearing it by itself as I love seeing my mismatched rings together. But when I purchased my wedding band and tried it without my e-ring, I thought it still looked pretty. So I think yours would look nice by itself too. 🙂

Why not just get a straight band? There would barely be a gap.

i never wear mine alone because I never take off my engagement ring, but I love how it looks by itself! I’ll take a photo when I can and post it here.

I wear a v-shaped ring on my right hand, so I’m all for funny shaped rings!

I have a friend with a curved band and she spins the curve to the back when she wears it alone.  Hers is an eternity band though.  Could you maybe find an option you like that is an eternity band so the back looks the same as the front and you could spin it?
