@alotlikelove:  well,I realize that abortion isn’t going anywhere. I think late term abortion is disgusting and I don’t know how those doctors can function. You could not pay me enough money to do that job.

When the FDA hears about a few cases of contamination there’s a massive recall,just in case. But maybe we’re killing babies,maybe they’re not babies,eh lets just keep doing it until someone’s makes a decision.

I do not like abortion,but it is here and something I have to accept. I have never,and hope to not be,in a situation where I would have to make a decision. Anyone can say they’re going to do xyz until it happens.

@alotlikelove:  I watched it.  Big deal.  Just more manufactured drama from that nut-job ninny Lila Rose.

Love how the video denounces the clinic doctor and counselor as “inhuman.”  Way to encourage more violence against, you know, actual people.

@JerNCher:  Late term abortion is a needed service.  The pro-life side likes to perpetuate the idea that all these irresponsible, promiscuous sluts just wait around several months and then get around to getting their abortions.

The reality is that most late term abortions are performed on fetuses that are going to die or are already dead or that have catastrophic issues.  Most late term abortions are performed for wanted pregnancies.

Not to mention that late term abortions are very difficult to obtain and far more heavily regulated.  Of course the faux patient doesn’t elaborate on the lies she had to tell to even get an appointment.

@alotlikelove:

OMG no, I’m not watching that. All I had to do was read the text in the link.

I’m way WAY against abortion under most circumstances. I’m getting out of this thread before it gets ugly!

@Zhabeego:  you gave your opinion,I gave mine. I didn’t say anything about sluts or unwanted pregnancies. I understand most people dont go around getting pregnant with the hopes to abort their partially developed babies. Thanks though.

I see no problem with late term abortions at all. I’m all for abortions at ANY time for ANY reason. Including selective gender based abortions.

not gonna watch manufactured propaganda.  Late terms abortions happen in less than 1 percent of abortions.  They are needed in cases to save women’s lives.

If you think this is bad, you ought to see the aftermath of a highly unsanitary back-alley abortion performed with a coathanger on an unsedated woman.

This video honestly was not that horrifying to me, and I doubt it would be to most people who have voluntarily done research on abortion procedures. All I can say is, I”m glad that THIS video is going viral, and not a much more graphic one about what exactly is done.

I would most likely get an abortion if I was in the wrong situation, but I could never actually perform one, myself.

I personally do think that late-term abortions ARE inhumane in a way (I mean, it’s definitely a worse procedure than the lethal injection, what with all the “instruments” and such), but I don’t think abortions overall are inhumane, cruel, etc.. I’m sure that it’s a tough decision to make, and people must think of the potential life as well as how having a baby would affect their OWN life. Yes, it may be selfish, but it can also be equally as cruel (for parents and baby) to have a child that you are not ready for.

late term abortions are exceptionally rare, and in the few cases where they are performed they are almost always performed for medical reasons (when the mother’s life or health is at risk, or when the fetus will almost certainly die at birth/ within a few days of birth)

@okqueenbee:  Well, no one will ever force you to have an abortion. Just like you can’t force anyone to maintain a pregnancy they don’t want.

This is a decision and a choice each woman has the perfect right to make for herself – and no one else.

I am pro-life, but can understand why late abortion is needed in some cases. I think abortion should only be used for medical reasons though. Any other case, I think adoption is a better option than abortion.

On a side note and not to derail the thread, I believe that wherever abortion is legal, so should euthanasia be too.

That’s my two cents on this topic.

@Mrs_Purple:

Euthanasia, as in assisted suicide? What is euthanasia? Sorry for my ignorance, but I’ve only heard it in reference to shelter animals 🙁

@okqueenbee:  Yes, that’s what I’m referring to. And it’s ok, no need to apologise, don’t worry about it 🙂
