Hiya, I dont have a picture of the back of my dress but I had it converted to a corset back as it was a sample size and there was no way it was zipping up!

I thought I would put a picture up anyway so you can see that the bodice is very similar to yours, what she did was match the modesty panel and ribbon with the underlay of the skirt so it looks like it’s meant to be there. I think cause your dress has so much going on having exact fabric matches will be important!

@MrsNewDay:  I love your dress though! I think the corset will look incredible, what accesories are you wearing with it

@MrsNewDay:  I’m doing this with my dress but I won’t have it back from alterations until end of November.  My dress was about a size too small and the seamstress thought this was very doable, I imagine two sizes would be fine too.  The bodice of your dress looks a little similar to mine, and my seamstress told me the design make it especially easy to let out because they can hide any imperfections under the pleats.  Hope that helps!

The dress I wanted was too small for me and from a discontinued brand, so they put a corset in so that it would fit.  According to the alterations lady it is not a difficult thing for them to do.   Worked quite well.  Here’s a pic after the corset and before any other alterations.
