I got my convertible dresses from Lulu’s. I chose the purple but they have light sage and a pretty slate blue too.  We waited for a sale so my girls paid 58 for them instead of the 73. Plus free shipping and free returns in ten days, also 10% off your first order.

sunsetsnmargaritas :  my bridesmaids and I were very happy with the dresses. We got three different dress types from them, and two girls with be wearing this dress in purple. One got a dress without a lining so she sent it back and they made sure to send her one with the lining quickly without issues.

The fabric is high quality. It’s breathable but a bit heavy, especially all the extra fabric. Its essentially a skirt with two very very long pieces of fabric draped from the front. The ladies are deciding how they are going to style it and then cut some of the extra off.

We bought the dresses around their (American) Thanksgiving and after Christmas sales, they also had extended returns during that time. I am not sure if they have had a sale since, but if you sign up for emails you get 10% off.

I am having a (near the beach) garden wedding in July.

sunsetsnmargaritas :  we are doing an ombré purple. Four dresses from Lulu’s, two from David’s Bridal. These are all the dresses we bought from Lulu’s. Two will be in the convertible on the left, the pleated one didn’t fit anyone right but it was $25 on final sale so it’s just in my closet now. And then one each in the plum and y-neck.

You can search their dresses by color. It’s one of my favorite features on shopping sites. Slight shade variations between what they considered “dusty purple” as both the pleated and y-neck are that color. Also their deep v’s are extreeeeemly deep and sometimes super wide too, just FYI.

I almost forgot, their shipping is amazing. Super fast. Definitely wait for Black Friday sales!!!! They’ve had these convertible dresses for at least six months and keep making new colors so I doubt they discontinue them before the end of the year.

I saw you added questions about body types, the two using the convertible are petite (5’3 and 5’5), small bust and curvy booties. I don’t think this dress type works well with large chested women as it doesn’t offer much support, however accommodations could be made when tying to help lift and hold in place.

David’s bridal has one. I saw it last week while we were shopping for my friends wedding.  They called it the “versi” or something for “versatile”

There is a place in Canada called Henkaa. I’m in Australia so I’ve gone with a local place, but Henkaa looked like a great option.
