You can totally get it changed to a corset back, I did that to mine without any trouble, the only issue is it will increase the alterations amount you have to pay, but I felt it was so worth it, and I loved my dress even more after I changed it.
For me they took in the sides some, to allow for the corset, so that it would have that "V" in the back, they added a privacy panel and then made the corset ties to match the dress.
I really wish I would have done that with my dress. It was a little loose for my taste.
Well I just got off the phone, made an appointment for July 2nd to do alterations. She's actually opening the store for me, to come in that day! How nice :) I'm already having good service with them! They have 20 years of experience in that store, and were recommended to me on another wedding forum, so cross your fingers!
Yeah the gown is just a bit loose around my chest/ribs area. Look:
I feel like, a corset back will really cinch it around me, and give me wicked curves. I'm done being afraid of what i'm going to look like on my wedding day, and just flaunt what I got ;)

@dolphi99: Oh awesome, this gives me some relief! I was wondering if they could just take it in the sides a bit. It seems so complicated to do so, looking at the dress. But I guess they know what they're doing :P
This place also does custom bridal gowns, so I am pretty confident!

I just got my dress in the mail on Tuesday!!! It's a zipper back, and pretty much fits perfectly. Could maybe take it in an inch around the bust area.
I was thinking of having it converted to a corset back though, but i'm wondering something. Does the fact that the dress fits with the zipper, mean a lace-up back won't work? You know how lace-up backs look, in the inverted triangle kinda thing. Will it even be noticeable on my dress? I hope this makes sense. I mostly want it so I can pull the gown tighter around my curves, and give me a wicked figure on my wedding day :) That's all that matters really.
I am just wondering if I made a mistake buying MY size, with this intention, or if I should have gone one size lower :/ Don't really have time to do anything about that, my wedding is at the end of August, and i'm supposed to be taking my gown in next week to start alterations.
