I would put it out after dinner, and I would eat max 6, because after that I would feel self conscious! But I am a HUGE sweets fan!!! Love them love them love them. We’re doing a dessert bar and with 120 guests we’re doing 100 of each, we know not everyone eats sweets like we do, and not everyone will have one of each. I know there will be some gone and some left over at the end of the night, but I’m hoping nobody will be miffed! And by doing 100 instead of 120 of each, we’re saving $300 so yeah, it’s worth it considering that’s what my ceremony music is costing!

We did this something like this for our guests (sweet n salty buffet) and had everything individually packaged so that guests could enjoy the goodies there and take some home.  I made sure that there was at least 2 of each item for each guest and it worked out perfectly.

I would probably be a greedy little piggy and eat one or two, but also put 5-6 in my box to take home!  What can I say, I have SUCH a sweet tooth and I usually consider events like this a night-off from my usual diet.

Does your cocktail hour have other food?  I might just put this out early with the cider and hot chocolate, since they go well together.  Then again, that might mean more will be eaten (first round at cocktail, 2nd round after dinner, + some in takeaway box)….

@angelalsmith3:  I had savory chex mix, white chocolate chex mix (these were next to bags that the guests could fill themselves), caramel chex mix, strawberry cake pops, cheese straws, white chocolate pretzels, honey mustard pretzels and some hershey’s hugs (my fave candy).  It was a huge hit with my guests and the majority of them took something with them for the ride/flight home.

@angelalsmith3:  Great Idea! You should do a poll to figure out which cookies and bars are most popular. I did this with my dessert bar options and it was very helpful.
