I envision cute sugar cookies decorated in your wedding colors with maybe a monogram on them or other cute phrases. I’m a big fan of sugar cookies with yummy frosting, though. Great idea!

A mix of more traditional cookies, like chocolate chip, and more bizzare cookies like raspberry cheesecake or something. Figure, if everyone takes home four cookies, and they want each one to be different, then you need a variety of four kinds of cookies and about 100 of each of them. That’s what I would do, anyway….

OMG I am in LOVE with this idea and am totally stealing it!!

I think it would be neat to have some special cookies that you can’t find everywhere and I will bullet my ideas.  I would account for 3-4 cookies per person if they are going to be the favors as well and have the last cookie per person wrapped in cellophane or something so they know.

  • Chocolate and caramel swirl
  • Classic chocolate chip
  • Magic cookie (typically made with coconut, chocolate chips, peanut butter, oatmeal, macadamia nuts, and sometimes raisins)
  • Classic peanut butter
  • Oatmeal, Maple & Raisin, potentially with walnuts
  • Macadamia nut, white chocolate, and cranberry

We’ve been talking about doing this and want to have a few of our favorite cookies from when we were kids.  If we do it, we might ask each mother to make a batch and then make a couple batches ourselves.  I could see having 4-5 jars…but we haven’t really thought it out.
