After much thought of what the best favors for our budget would be, I’ve concluded that COOKIES are the way to go. Why? First of all, who doesn’t like cookies? Satan… that’s who. Second, I make a MEAN chocolate chip cookie and my italian wedding cookies would make you cry (with delight, of course).
Now, the question is, how do I package these bad boys without damaging them OR my budget, all while elevating the presentation to reflect this fancy shmancy event? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

SarahTee: maybe grab some clear plastic bags they sell in the candy making aisle at craft stores, something like this (not sure if this particular one is the correct size or not, but you get the idea) http://www.joann.com/wilton-100-ct-treat-bags-clear/6786875.html#prefn1=isProject&start=137&q=cookie+&sz=54&prefv1=false
then you could tie each with a ribbon or fold over and seal with a sticker that has your name/wedding date/cute saying, etc.

emstar168: I love the look of the first photo you posted, and I bet OP could find some nice bags like that to match the wedding colors!

We are doing white waxed pastry bags for our chocolate chip cookie favors, with bakers’ twine or thin ribbon in our wedding colors and a Thank You tag. We thought about using those plastic bags, but decided it might look unseemly if any of the chocolate chips melted and smeared onto the bag.
