My 4 year old niece got a cool bake cake pop maker for Christmas, but the refills are about 8 dollars a piece to make 4 cake pops or so. Does anyone have any recipes for them? I know they are the no-bake kind and that the recipes are gelatin based.

I looked up how it works and I don’t have any suggestions. You don’t even cook the cake? It’s just powder and water and then in the fridge? You might be stuck buying the replacement pouches. I thought it was a waffle iron style one, where you put your mix in and it bakes it in to ball shapes in which case you could just use any old cake mix but this isn’t the same thing at all.
