I think TV theme songs are always great for an entrance. What about the price is right? We just picked ours out yesterday and will be entering into the theme from Dragnet!!
My fiance is a huge chicago bulls fan, so the bridal party and my fiance and I will be introduced to the Chicago Bulls entrance song. haha! Gotta pick your battles, right?!!!?

Are you talking about your processional or your Grand Entrance?
We're using the "Loquasto International Film Festival theme" from the movie The LIfe Aquatic for our processional.
I just went to a wedding and they did their entrance to the Kill Bill theme song - I thought it was a really cool and fun choice.

Our parents and wedding party are entering to I Feel Good (James Brown) and we are entering to "Grow Old With You" (Adam Sandler)
I will brainstorm on entrance music. But first I have to ask, what Magnetic Fields song are you dancing to? I love the Magnetic Fields!
Thanks for all the suggestions! I hadn't really even thought about movie themes, so we'll have to investigate soundtracks from some of our favorites. Life Aquatic would be awesome!
Shy Violet - We're using "Nothing Matters When We're Dancing" for our first dance. We were going to use "Book of Love" and had talked about it for a long time. But my fiance actually proposed to me while dancing to this song, so we're going with something different. Both are great songs though!

I agree with some of the TV show ones. I thought about "believe it or not I am walking on air, I never thought I could feel so free". I also liked what a feeling by irene cara. These obviously FI did not go for so we are walking out to "Let my love open the door" by pete townsend.
Great choices! I think I am inspired to start my wedding playlist...
Kerry, sounds like we've got similar tastes in music. I thought about using a Cake song for the cake cutting, but we're entering the reception to "Love You Madly." I loved the intro, and it lends itself to an announcement, a good happy strut, and then some party music.
We're really quirky and walked into the reception with the Austin Powers' theme song. :)

I need some suggestions for cool entrance music! We're having a hard time deciding. We want something quirky and also really upbeat. To give you an idea of our music taste, we're doing our first dance to a Magnetic Fields song, have some Decemberists, Rufus Wainright and Sigur Ros for dinner music and are cutting our cake to a Cake song.
"Who Let the Dogs Out" is already on the do not play list. We want something different but fun for our entrance and for our wedding party but are stuck!
