It's really up to you. I did the coin ceremony when I got married because I love what it symbolizes. Although I did have the coin ceremony, I didn't have a coin bearer like most people do. I just had my MOH carry the coins herself.
P.S. I love that you are having your mothers do the sand ceremony. I've never seen that before :)

We were planning on only doing Cord and Veil with Secondary Sponsors and having our mothers do the Candle together (actually it will be sand since it is an outdoor ceremony).
Do you think it is okay to skip the Coins or is that a really important part in your opinion?
