It’s really up to you.  I’ve seen some people do it and others not.

Oooh I’d like to know this also. I have 4 people doing readings … and they are fsil and 3 girl cousins. I though about doing something special for them. I only have a small wedding party though … just MOH and Best Man + ring bearer and flower girl and my dad walking me! Fiance doesn’t want a bout … so I’m even torn on if I should give best man and dad one. Plus I have grandmothers … ahh. Lol. I haven’t decided this.

I think it is totally up to the person. I am planning on having two readers and I guess it will depend on our budget whether or not we will get corsages for them. I think it looks nice and makes the readers feel special to have one, but I don’t think they are necessary to have.

It didn’t even occur to me to get corsages for the readers!  I don’t think I’ve ever been to a wedding where the readers got them.  Doesn’t mean you can’t, just means you don’t really have to if you don’t want.

Consider who the readers are.  Your 50 year old aunt might not care, but a younger female cousin may think it is really special.

I invited my fiance’s two teenage cousins to hand out programs and am getting them corsages.  I think they will enjoy it.  I probably wouldn’t do it if they were five years older.

I think it’s up to you but also agree with jocelyn3476– consider who your readers are and if it will make them feel special.

I had my 13yo brother and sister (twins) do a reading and got my brother a bout and my sis a corsage. We also got small wrist corsages for my little cousins who handed out programs–they LOVED them.

I don’t think they’re a must have, but it is a nice touch!

I also think it depends on the size of your wedding. If you’re having 50 guests and 20 people have floral bling it might look silly. lol we’re having a wedding with probably less than 75 people so I had to cut off the bouts & corsages before 1/2 our guests ended up with one.
