It can be done but if you have a bridal salon do it it will be plenty costly. Try to find someone independent and wait. I lost 15 lbs the two weeks before i married my ex. My dress was two sizes to big come wedding day.
It can be done, but I agree -- if possible, find a seamstress who specializes in wedding dresses. Much cheaper than doing it at a salon!
Yes, I found someone to do the hemming part. But I tried it on again yesterday and soo loose. I need to have it done come January so I should be good then. Thanks ya'll.
they just go down the seams on the sides, just like any other dress when they alter it... it'll be perfectly fine! i would recommend going through an independent seamstress, especially if your dress is lace or anything that remotely resembles "delicate" or "patterned" or "hard to alter".... the shop will take you for a loop with those! ;)

Girls, I have a problem! I have lost too much weight (trust me not a bad thing) but Now I need to know if can have my corset altered. I would like it to look like a corset. Right now it just looks like a bunch of fabric holding my dress tight in the back. Not the look that I want. Any suggestions or ideas on how much this alterations will cost and If I can even get this done. I still have 10 pounds to my goal weight and 5 months til my wedding!
