So I went to get prices on alterations and have gotten a couple choices on how to alter my dress with a corset back. My corset has the eyelets (I think that is what they are called) instead of the loops. Because of this, I guess it is harder to alter. Since my dress does not have side seams, my options are...
1. Alter the dress on the sides which will leave side seams. Keep the corset as it is with the eyelets.
2. Alter the dress down the corset and through the zipper creating a longer corset but putting loops on instead of the eyelets. (Which is a little more costly)
I'm somewhat hesitant to do either. Does anyone have pictures of the corset with eyelets? I can't seem to find one and I don't have my dress with me.
What would you do?
