Hey ladies, does anyone know how much space should be between the uppermost lacing of the corseted top of a wedding gown?

I've been doing a lot of googling for some kind of information on what's "normal," but haven't had any luck. Or if anyone has a link to an image of a good looking lace-up, like what it should usually look like, that would be helpful, too!

Is there some kind of standard, like it's usually about 3 inches wide, or something along those lines?
    Thank you!! :)

Shoulder-blades. They told me you want enough that there's a gap, but not so that it is too tight. Here is the back on my gown to give you an idea. They only laced every-other, so it will look better on the big day, but they told me that the distance that i had was exactly what you want when i inquired about getting a bigger or smaller size.

I think it's great! The point of a corset, in my opinion, is to be able to fit it to yourself, so as long as it's not like a foot wide or absolutely no space in between and it's comfortable, it's great. My bridal shop told me 2 inches wide is the standard, so who knows? I think yours is perfect. Pretty dress! :)

Yours looks great!  Just make sure they don't lace it too tightly on the day so that you're not comfortable when you're sitting down, dancing, etc.

It looks great, don't worry! My shop told me shoulder blades, but I have definitely seen them laced tighter.
