@pkeenan1229:  My friend SO was on her about her wight he and his father thought she should get a size down… i tell you what if you go down and dont fit it you wont be able to be confy its hard to let things out plus an overly tight corset maybe brought in on some of the panels will look better then a really wide gapped open one if u lose some wight but not enough

also when i was a MOH my friend same friend asked me to lose 15lb she lost 20 and i used to work in a gym b4 film school so she knew i kinda got chubby sitting at a desk and knew i could do it just didnt have motivation so it wasnt rude as it sounds …. she orderd my dress a LIL BIG (SHE WAS SCARED I WOULDNT LOSE) long and short of it i lost more then 15 and it got taken in about 4 dress sizes lol so bring it in isnt as hard as letting it out

i say get one that fits you thatsthe main thing? u wanna be confy and no squished in

@pkeenan1229:

Did you try on the size 8 just to see how much you’d have to lose?  I mean, I wouldn’t want the laced back to be completely closed, so I guess that’s what I’m basing my answer on.   My own dress is a Sophia Tolli in size 2 (they dont’ make 0 in that style) and I need it taken in quite a bit because they back is completely closed with the corset (and still a little big, it wouldn’t stay up, that’s for sure) and I WANT there to be a gap back there.   I think it’s so pretty.

I bet even at your current size, the size 8 would fit with the corset back.

@pkeenan1229:  Just to clarify, the size 10 is what you tried on,  and the corset was done up as tight as it can, and it fits you? If you are currently losing weight, and the 10 only just fits now, I say get the 8. Absoloute worst case scenario is that your alterationist would extend the modesty panel.

Out of curiosity, which one are you ordering?

Mine is Pacifica, from the fall 2012 collection.

@pkeenan1229:  I am pretty sure they could like trim the pannels of the corset and bring it in depending on how its made .. normally they have boneing seams and more then one peice i would check and check the price point to do that (i bet its alot of work to do that) and but i dont see why they couldn’t

i mean a corset is nromaly a front and  few side pannels back clourse under neath so they jsut trim those sow them closed and then bring in the top layer it might be alot of work but i am sure they could check b4 ordering for sure though

and find out the latest possible time u can orderur dress maybe hold off till u see where you are with the new eating you need to be doing cause if that new way you need to eat is making wigth fall off it jsut makes sense to wait

*i wanna go gt a dres right now i dont need to go for a few more months but i know its better to wait see where you stand i have been losing wight though for me its walking my new puppy and hitting the gym again eating heahty i not so much dieiting as eating the way i should not just what ever tastes like i wanna eat lol also i esting mroe then once a day that helps lol*
