(Closed) Corset into buttons?

It’s definitely do-able; in fact, I had a very plain back (one zip down) and am getting a corset lace-up put in, but I first thought of the button look as well, however, it’s probably more labor cost than anything else, I’d price out the materials (prob. satin covered buttons) and figure probably $15-20/hr for labor cost. It’d probably be like 4-5 hours work?

I’m not sure. The dress I got has decorative buttons covering the zipper and I almost want to have  corset put in (maybe) and if not that a little train (mine doesn’t have one). Your best bet would be to ask the seamstress who did or is doing you alterations.

I think it will be a lot easier to fake the buttons, that’s what I’m doing but just because I want a zipper because it’s easier and buttons because they are ADORABLE!
