Oh yes, definitely possible. I would just make sure you bring the corset to your fittings, so the seamstress can fit the dress to your figure including the corset, not without. You'll also want to make sure that the structure of the corset (boning, starting and stop points) don't show up or make lines/bumps in the dress. If you're wearing a heavy fabric, I wouldn't see where this would be a problem, but if you're wearing a light chiffon or tulle, it might show through a bit and require another layer like a silk slip or something.
