Mine is $3,076 for 2 photographers, 6hrs, rights to all the photos (no watermark or anything), editing to all photos as well. I know it’s not the greatest deal in town but it’s also not the most expensive quote I recieved. Hope this helps!

I’m in San Diego and all of the photographers that I have been looking at are all over $2000. More towards $3000. It really depends on what is included in the package. The only one that was less than $2000 (it was $1850) was for just the photographers assistantphotographer in training

@BrightDaffodil:  where in California are you looking? Most professional photographers in ANY area are going to be $2,000+ but in and around major cities in CA you can expect average pricing to be $4,000-$6,000+.

We’re paying $2800 for two photographers for 6 hours, all edited pictures and rights to use them, with an engagement session. No album. An album would’ve added an additional $1200.

Most decent photographers we found started at $4,000…photography and video is VERY expensive.

If you’re in the Southern California area, you should sign up for It’s like Groupon but for weddings. I got a great deal for my photographer through them, and there are a lot of photographer deals.

It depends on where you are. A San Fran photog is going to cost a hell of a lot more than a rural CA photog. Where are you located?

we paid $1500 for unlimited hours and 2 photographers for our wedding in san francisco. they gave us a deal on the package because it was a friday 2 days before christmas. they’re located in sacramento but will travel anywhere in california (i think it’s anywhere). it took awhile to get our cd’s after the wedding though. we didn’t get them back until may which is way longer than it should’ve been. if you don’t mind that then check out modernlite. i’ve seen they got some negative reviews more recently though so i’m not sure if i should recommend them or not. they were great for us but that was almost 2 years ago.

just for comparison, i got quotes from SF photographers upwards of $8000. that was more than our entire wedding budget.
