The cost per person will vary a lot depending on where you're having your wedding, what type of venue you pick, and what kind of food will be served. My dinner reception with 4 hours of open bar (wedding cake included) is $120 pp., so to me $95 pp seems like a great deal, but I know other people who are spending way less than that!
i agree. depends on a lot of things. mine is 120 for the dinner + cake. open bar is going to be on consumption and at the price of drinks for 150 ppl, we're looking at at least 3500. but you only do it once right?! :)

just wondering what the typical cost is for reception dinner and/or open bar? the place we are doing it at costs 95/person for both open bar and dinner, which seems high after you calculate 80 guests.
