    Hi Bees,

FI and I are in the midst of finalizing our 'big' wedding plans.  We really want to have chair covers because we are getting married at the same place that we are having the reception.  We are getting married at a Hilton hotel, so the chairs are nice....but are very 'hotel-ish' and don't match our colors (i.e. red/gold stripes...our colors are black and pink).  We have only called a couple of places, but I was wondering what the price per chair was for those of you who had them?  I have been told that it is pretty standard for $2 a chair, but the places we have called have all been over $3?  Is this normal?

I was quoted $5/chair to rent...but found you could buy them online for $2-$5/chair, depending on the fabric quality, etc. (The cheaper one's being the plastic faux-fabric kind.)  Also, if you get lucky you might be able to get some used off of craigslist for cheap.

We ended up deciding to make our own, which double as favor bags, for about $2/chair.

I heard $4-5 per chair cover for the full covers. I'm sticking with no chair covers and dealing with the ugly chairs.

Yep, we were quoted 5.50 a chair. luckily we got them for free by booking a date at our venue's bridal show. Otherwise I'd probably be sewing chair covers myself!

Look around online. I found some on clearance on some site for like $2 each, unfortunately I can't remember which one now! I didn't end up ordering though, because we're thinking about switching our venue and wouldn't need them.

You can definitely buy them for less than $3 online, from places like LinenTableCloth.com.  That's where we got ours.  We have already resold most of them.
