argh, hair/makeup was WAY more expensive than i thought it would be. $250-300 sounds like a lot of what i found. i'm not sure if it would be less expensive to find someone at a makeup counter that you like and hire them to do your wedding makeup? although they wouldn't be able to do your hair.
That's a lot. Hair was $50 and makeup at most salons in my area was also $50 (but I did my own makeup on my wedding day).
this may give me a h.e.a.r.t...a.t.t.a.c.k. oh and I have to pay for trial on top of that.
I think that is still only a fraction of what most people are paying for photography though, right? When you are paying a MUA/Hairstylist, (for the most part) it guarantees that they use photo/film friendly materials that will ensure that you look great for the photos and video footage!

I've gotten quotes for $250 and $300 for hair/makeup for me. Is this normal? It seems so expensive1
