The most reasonable quote I have received is about $1500 (south FL). I have been quoted cheaper prices, but they were from people new to the business who didn't seem to have a good grip on what they were doing. When I asked them what they would do if the machine or printer broke, they told me that we were out of luck, and they would credit us money back, prorated based on the number of hours we had already used. Ummm... so if it broke an hour into my reception, we were out of luck!
The $1500 was from someone who included some upgrades (color, etc) plus has a backup booth WITH THEM in case we need it.
or you could do a DIY photo booth with a point and shoot camera, tripod, lighting, fabric for backgrounds and a photos printer (my estimate is about $250 if you don't have to buy the camera)
Upstate NY Pricing: $1400 for 4 hours of unlimited photos with attendant. I also found another that is $1095 but have not spoke to them personally yet to see what it entails.
Our photographer has it as an add-on for an extra $110. We're not going with it as an option since we're having a teeny wedding, but I think it must be fairly simple for such a bargain price.
Prices are approximately $1,000 for 4 hours in St. Louis. Most of the companies around here average that price.
In DC, the price for 4 hours is either $1100 or $1400, depending on the package (the higher price one includes double prints and the guestbook). The cost can be higher too, if you order extras like an external monitor or frames that hold the photos for favors.
I'm working on my own package now, and I'll try to remember to post what I will pay for and what I get for it when I'm done!
I've found a couple in the Iowa/Illinois region for $800 each. That includes 4 hours with two attendents, unlimited prints, props, etc. etc...
My photobooth is about $900 for 4 hours, unlimited pics, props plus the additional scrapbook/double prints option, which added a couple hundred to the base cost.
My friends used New England Photo Booth for their wedding last year in SE Mass. I think it was $1200 for 4 hours.
About $1355 (and that is with an extra $160 for the traveling expense to get to me) :(
2 companies i contacted in santa barbara quoted $1399 and one in LA quoted $1300. i'm still thinking about what we could cut on our budget to make room for a photobooth.
$1,000 for 4 hours, unlimited pictures, attendant, etc. in NYC with partybooths.com.

I am curious how much people have spent on photobooths for their reception. I am trying to figure out whether it is in the budget.
Thanks!
PS - New Hampshire rental prices are even more appreciated!
