So I ordered 100 orange roses back in August for a 10/19 delivery. My wedding is 10/20. I got the shipment confirmation from Costco yesterday. TODAY they call me to say that there is a Fedex technical error and my flowers wont be delivered until late saturday morning. Um my reception is at 1pm and there wont be time to set up the flowers in the centerpieces. So they offer to send me 100 yellow roses. And how will they do that if there is an error with Fedex??? No answer to that. I pushed for a full refund and will be getting it.
AAAHHHH…so now I need to figure out how the hell to do my centerpieces with 1 day left

This may not be ideal but check out grocery store floral departments. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine – flowers arrived but were DEAD, like dried up dead, she ended up having to change her plan but she was able to purchse a crap ton of hydrangeas last min. from Harris Teeter and because she told the store her sob story they gave her a discount and helped arrange the flowers.
I’m so sorry that happened to you, good luck!!!

I’m not trying to be a downer, but I ordered from Costco, and, as part of the ordering “contract”, I apparently agreed to have my flowers delivered +/- 24 hours from when I requested. Double check that you didn’t agree to this before you file a claim.
That said, I found Costco cs to be fantastic. Perhaps contact your local store, and see if they have the flowers you would like available. My store told me that, if any flowers wilted before the ceremony, they would replace them in store.

The local Whole Foods / Trader Joes / Super Market is your friend.
