    Hey Hive!

Have any of you used Costco or Sams Club for your flowers?  I am thinking about using them but I was a little nervous for the quality etc. Have any of you had experience with them?  Good, bad or indifferent?

I am debating DIY'ing my flowers (or atleast the centerpieces) and so I am looking to figure out whether it is worth it or not.  Thanks!

I bought a whole bunch of long stem roses for a bachelor auction from Costco.  They were the cheapest roses I could find.  They were sturdy and very long.  The flowers smelled and looked great and I had no issues with them.  I also loved that they came straight to my door and all I did was throw them in some water with some flower food.  I used them 1 day after I got them and they had not opened yet.  Hope that helps!

    Hi Ladies -

So we ordered flowers from Sam's Club and received them this past wednesday for my sisters friday night wedding.  My thoughts???  These are definitely DYI - they will take you some time to remove the thorns, leaves and outside petals.  They were a little scary at first - looking back we should of had them received say on tuesday instead to allow more time for the flowers to open up.  Here is an image of the bouquets and centerpieces we put together.

    Hello,

Does anyone know what the proper procedure is to buy flowers from Sam's Club or Costco? Has anyone ordered flowers from Sam's Club/Costco that are not posted on their website?

If you are local and not to far from Los Angeles, check out the LA Flower Mart or District! Thats what I plan to do for my DIY flowers!

@fernalda: I plan on ordering from Sam's club and based on the reviews, I think you have to order them 3 days before your event for best results. I plan to have mine delivered on Weds for a Saturday wedding.
