I love them!  My bridesmaids got them for my July wedding, and they are light and comfortable.  I don’t know about wrinkles, but we love them anyway.

We’re date twins!  My dresses are cotton sateen as well and my girls LOVE them!  They said they are super-comfortable. I don’t know about wrinkling, but I wouldn’t imagine it would be too bad.

I wore one of the cotton sateen dresses for a wedding I was in last summer, and it was my favorite bridesmaid dress ever–comfortable, cool, and it had pockets! 😉 If it weren’t a color I’m not crazy about, it’s the only bm dress I’ve had to buy that I would have worn again.

I think it’s a good idea to steam it as close as possible before the wedding, but the wrinkles weren’t really on my mind that day, so I think they couldn’t have been too bad.

We are also date twins! Two of my girls are wearing cotton sateen. They love it. It’s comfortable (a perk for a CA wedding in Oct) and far superior than the rather cheapish looking satin that DB uses.

Hi!

I wore this dress for a wedding last summer. YES IT WRINKLES if you’re sitting on it. In fact, before the ceremony, a couple girls had to last minute dampen and steam the dresses with an iron at the church. They were great, but they do wrinkle. Just bring a garmet steamer with you 🙂 or have an iron on-hand at the church.

Pics before the ceremony at the hotel looked great but we were all wrinkled after riding in the limo.

It was really comfortable though! and it had pockets which was awesome.

Once iron, it looks really crisp and fresh – 🙂 forgot to include that!

My girls are getting these dresses in the cotton sateen:

They love them! And, all three of them were excited to wear them again. In the Champagne color, they look like khaki material.

@min – Originally, I wanted to do the different dresses, but this style looked so good on everyone. I have three girls with VERY different body shapes, and they all wanted this one.

@Min – I think stockings would be fine. I have to agree with your mom on the “no bare leg” thing. Just make sure you get high quality stockings and you’ll be good.

I’m getting mine from a place called “Secrets in Lace.” They sell all vintage styled stockings and undergarments. They even have a line designed by Dita Von Teese! They carry French and Euro heels, but since I’m wearing “Dora” I’ll be rockin’ these Polka Dot Stockings.

My guys will be wearing tuxes.  That’s pretty much been FI’s only request so far.  I’m sure the juxtaposition of them in their tuxes and shiny shows and my girls in these dresses and Chuck Taylors will be pretty interesting.

@Puggy – My BM wore that same dress in “tangerine” for a wedding this summer, and she loved it. I’ve tried it on (for a wedding I was standing in, but we didn’t go with it) and it was SUPER comfy, and looks really nice in pics.

She’s already worn her’s again twice now, once on her honeymoon, and she turned it into a halloween costume too!
