I am getting married November 29 and was having trouble with my birth control (be-yaz). It actually through my cycle off so much I am due to get my period on my wedding day. I don’t want to be on a hormonal birth control anymore so talked to my doctor about finding other options and we thought it’d be best after the wedding to start a new kind because of how they affect me. She gave me a prescription for norethisterone (which basically just prevents you from getting your period, not from ovulating) so that I will not get my period on my wedding day. Since I will be taking it when my period is due I thought I wouldn’t have to worry about getting pregnant on my honeymoon which is the next week. I plan on losing weight in these last few weeks because I’ve been working out and eating healthy and it just crossed my mind that sometimes when you workout too much or lose weight your period comes really late or is even missed. When that happens do you ovulate at all? I just don’t want to push it way back from losing weight or working out and ovulate late because of it, which would be on my honeymoon. We can’t wait to have kids someday but we are not really ready for them right away. Do you think its something I should be concerned about?
