I don't see the way, but you can get a bolero. I love the lace ones used by pronovias models.

You may be able to add an organza sleeve if you find a good seamstress. I recall watching an episode of "say yes to the dress" where the alterations staff added organza sleeves to the strapless dress of an older bride who was concerned with her upper arms. You may want to try to find that episode online. You''ll likely have to watch quite a few but it may be worth it. Good luck.
@Pand0ra: something like this??? http://www.etsy.com/listing/9996103/love-in-the-mist?ref=pr_shop
You may want to talk to this bride:

@Pand0ra: oh I love her dress! thanks for the reference :)
I really wanted the Monique Lhuillier "Addie" dress but it's been impossible to find, and probably well out of my budget ;o)
You could always make it a halter top dress as well
Or you could add an illusion top! You know, sort of like a illusion t-shirt that you would wear over your dress... It might look something likr this:

Could I add sleeves to this dress somehow? Dying to have sheer sleeves. Here is me trying my dress on. Realize I may have to alter the neckline somewhat to do this, but I'm willing to compromise.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it, great price, I'll wear it anyway, but, ugh, sleeves, please, i dreamed it before Kate! I swear :)
