I’m planning on POAS today, but I still need to get through a workday wondering about this.
My Darling Husband and I have always used condoms, never had a tear/break/leak/etc (he checks). Now my period is very late (last cycle started 8/25 and I usually have 30-32 days between), and I have no symptoms of it coming.
My period has been on the slightly irregular side, but it’s on time since March. Before that I was going through a very stressful period, so my crazy cycles were easily explainable. I was really stressed before 9/15, but I would think it would have started by now.
In terms of pregnancy symptoms, I don’t really know what to look for. I have been nauseous more than usual, but I get motion sickness fairly easily and I’ve been taking a bus home in rush hour traffic lately (I was driving myself after traffic ended before). Also, it’s never in the morning. I have been a lot more tired than usual.

@futurefishy: Honestly, if you never had a rip or tear, you are probably fine and it is probably stress or something quirky. If I were you, I would POAS during the work day. My huntch is that it’ll be negative and you’ll be so releaved!

@futurefishy: unfortunately no one on here will really be able to tell you if you’re pregnant. I suppose anything is possible- a test is what you need.

@futurefishy: Definitely take a test to make sure, but if you always use condoms and youm use them properly (i.e. during the entire time with no breaks or tears) then there really shouldn’t be anything to worry about. Your current cycle occurred during your wedding, if that’s not stressful, I don’t know what is. I suspect you ovulated later than usual and your period is just late.

Thanks for the responses! I’m pretty sure I’m not, but I’ll just wait out the day.

Is the wedding date correct, 9/21/13? If yes, CONGRATS! But the planning and stress of the last days of you wedding planning probably occured when you were supposed to ovulate, which quiet possibly delayed your ovulation, hence delayed your period. I wouldn’t worry if you used protection every time.

Take a test. Only way to know for sure!

@futurefishy: It’s highly unlikely but always possible when you miss a period. A test should come up positive by now. Good luck!

If you are sexually active then yes.

@KH: Thanks! The date is somewhat correct. We split up the ceremony and reception, so the ceremony was 9/15. I actually took the whole week off from work in between it and it was one of the least stressful times I’ve had this year.
I’m only slightly worried. If I am pregnant, it’s about a year before we wanted to start, but not a big deal.
@Swizzle: I’m planning on taking one after work today. Just trying to figure out if it’s even possible if we’ve had perfect condom use. Apparently it is, even though it’s very unlikely.
