    Ok. Here are the details. We are not TTC but we are only using the pull out method. We haven't had any accidents. I am on CD27, but I don't know when I ovulated, last month was my first month off the pill and it was 36 days. Anyways, today I fainted on the bus. Went to the doctor, did a bunch of tests including a negative pg test. But would it be too early to pick up on a urine test? He said my blood sugar was lower than it should be. Is that a pregnancy sign? Help!!

    Oh and he gave me a form to go get bloodwork done and I noticed he is requesting HCG. Isn't that a blood pregnancy test?? Does that mean he hasn't ruled it out???

    @OttawaBride2011: Most likely not ruled out. You could do an OPK to see if you have the hormone present. From what you said, it sounds like a possibility. Also, did you feel any ovulation cramps or anything along that line. Right now, I feel like crap courtesy of the ovulation cramps, like worst ever, but I know it's because we're trying and ovulation is close based on previous cycles.

    I think I ovulated around cd14 based on some cramps I had. We did have sex around that time. I just checked and I guess I am actually cd28.

    You're pretty close to checking for pregnancy. I would give it a few more days and see if you get a period or don't. I'm guessing you are, but I could be wrong. There's many more experienced TTC bees out there who can enlighten you further.

    @carrieknitscake:

    you think I am what? Pregnant? Really? Yikes!!! I am not going for the blood test until Saturday bc I hate needles and I want my DH to come for that reason, I would say by then I'll get an accurate result but I will probably POAS before then... It's hard not to!

    I also think it's possible that you could be.

    And you stated you aren't TTC so my suggestion would be to use something other than the "pullout" method as it really isn't a method or even close to fool proof.

    @Crisark:

    sorry, I meant to say before that the reason we are using that "method" is bc we wouldn't mind if it happened right now, we are just not actively trying!

    @Crisark: Agreed. If you don't want to be on hormonal birth control, then please consider a barrier method of contraception. Pulling out isn't a method, it's more like an afterthought.

    But yes, feeling faint and low blood sugar could be early signs of pregnancy.

    ETA: NM, just saw you weren't actively trying to prevent pregnancy.

    @Crisark: actually it is a method and it's about as effective (if used correctly) as condoms!

    ETA - Ottawabride, I know nothing about pregnancy! Sorry to be of no help

    I just took a first response and it was definitely negative. I'll now wait for my period :)

    I had a lot of weird symptoms the month after I went off hormonal BCP - lots of cramps, sore bbs, nauseaus, etc.  You probably are just late b/c it can take a long time for your body to regulate after going off the pill.  My first cycle off the pill was 35 days.  If you don't get your period in another week, retest.

    @winniewolf:

    I'm not actually late! It was a symptom thing. I'm on CD28 and my first cycle off bc was 36 days.

    Gotcha.  Well, you can be really irregular after going off the pill anyways.  My cycles were 35, then 30, then 40.  Anyways, hope you get the outcome you are hoping for!

    This is getting out of control. Literally everyone keeps asking if I'm pregnant because of the fainting. I really don't think I am though! But I kind of want to be so it's kind of hard to listen to, ya know? Ugh.

    I am sometimes hypoglycemic and the signs are feeling faint/fainting and low blood sugar. This seems more likely than pregnancy. But a blood test should give you a definite answer.

    @Eva Peron:

    I consider myself to be pretty healthy when it comes to eating. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables as well as lean meats and whole grain breads, etc. I had eaten my normal breakfast of a whole wheat English muffin and peanut butter right before this happened. Then I ate 2 homemade cookies right before going to the doctor, so I thought it was really odd that my blood sugar was low.

    If anyone is interested I am currently sitting pretty at CD38 with no sign of AF. I tested negative one week ago, had blood drawn 6 days ago, but haven't gotten results. I'm so frustrated. I have no idea when I ovulated so I don't even know how late I am. Ugh.

    @OttawaBride2011:Have you had any new symptoms? That's interesting that you haven't gotten the results of your bloodwork yet. My doctor usually has mine the day after I get it drawn. I'd give them a call :) Have you tested again? I'd probably do that too lol.

    @Running Elley:

    I know, it's frustrating, I think it's bc it was a walk-in doctor. They said results can take 7 days, so I figured I would call on Monday. I haven't taken another test, but I probably will this weekend. Only new symptoms are my sore boobs!

    @OttawaBride2011:Ohhh in that situation I'd probably wait to call until Monday too. Darn! Definitely test this weekend, when I got my BFP the sore boobs were my biggest symptom. Let us know how it goes!

    I'm so frustrated. CD40, negative test this morning, no period. Cramps and sore boobs, so I assume it's coming soon, but it's so annoying.

    I've heard some women never get a positive urine test when they are pregnant. I can't believe you have to wait 7 days for the blood test results--usually they can get results to you in 2 hours! I hope you get an answer soon!

    @eryepye: I hope so too! I am going to call tomorrow. Then I am going to make an appointment with my doctor if I don't get my period in the next couple of days. I just want an answer!!!
