so my dress has some lace and some beading, sorry that the picture is blurry a bit ... but with that said how do you think a mantilla veil would look? i cant try my dress on till the end of the month and i want to get a better idea of what i can wear with it?

I think a Mantilla veil would look fine but i think you will be suprised how a simple plain veil will look and it wont take any shine away from the detail of your dress.  Be sure to try lots on with your dres.

Either way im sure the veil will look great - cute dress by the way .

I agree with sarabride- The Mantilla veil would look fine but it might be too much with your dress.  Beautiful dress btw.

I think Mantilla veil might be a bit much. If you really want the mantilla, both paloma blanca and Mikaella have some that have the lace only at the bottom... that might work! Good luck!

Go for the Mantilla! I think it will look stunning with your dress! All my friends and fam thought a mantilla would not suit my dress...and then they saw it with my dress and absolutly loved it! Good Luck :)

I'm wearing a mantilla with a dress that has beading and no lace - thought at first it would "clash," but it looks amazing. It's definitely worth a shot.

Hmm, I would think the details of a Mantilla would detract from the details on your dress.

I would definitely do a birdcage veil over a mantilla veil with that dress...

I'm a big fan of mantilla veils (I'm using one too).  But I'm a bigger fan of trying different styles to see which one would suit you.

Be careful... "simple" veils on gorgeous dresses like yours look... well, at best, understated... at worst, like wearing sneakers on a tailleur LOL

You could have  a mantilla or a dropped veil with lace appliques reprising the lace and/or bead work on your gown.

I see too many brides going for simple looks and then ending up looking *plain* SIGH
