I wouldn’t. I usually think that if you have to ask if it is too white than it is probably too white.

It’s a lot of white. If the colors were reversed it would be totally fine, but otherwise it’s 3/4 white. Do they make that dress in any other colors?

I think you’re fine.  It’s a pretty dress, but seems kind of an akward length.

I think it might be a little too much white, but that’s just my opinion 🙂

Gray area. Everyone will have different opinions, so I would err on the safe side, and not wear it.

I think you could, with the black shoes, a black jacket or similar and black acessories it’d for sure not look like you were trying to be the bride.

But eh, other bees seem to think no.

I wouldn’t wear it, you have so many other colors to choose from

I would skip it. I agree with PP – if you have to ask if it’s too white, it’s too white 🙂

depends on your cousin really. Why don’t you send a picture of the dress to her and see what she thinks about it?

@Adams_bee:  Seems like you’d be putting the bride in a really awkward position if OP did that…

Two questions:

1) How are you going to accessorize it? I can see pairing it with a brightly colored scarf/wrap/pashmina, colored shoes, jewelry, etc., and having it be just fine.

2) How uptight is the bride? If she is a friend, you could send her the pic and just ask, “Do you think this is too much white to wear to your wedding? I like it, but I’m happy to wear something different if you would prefer that.” I wouldn’t have cared a bit if a guest had worn that to our wedding, but I know many brides get a lot more worked up about it.
