For all of you Bees out there who love looking at and discussing “rings with history”…
Do you think that this ring could be an antique/vintage piece? If you had to guess, what time period do you think it could be from?
My mom found this ring YEARS ago (we’re talking 20+) in the dirt when our Ohio home was first being built. She thought that the ring may have been unearthed from all of the digging/building.
Well! For all these years, my mom has had this little beauty hiding away in her jewelry box. I discovered it a few days ago and fell in love!
The ring has an interesting ‘filigree’ design, and what appears to be a small round brilliant on top. The sides have a two-tone look to them (silver and gold, or wear and tear?).
I also found some letters/numbers on the inside of the band, but can’t quite make sense of them. I’m definitely considering taking this ring to a jeweler in order to find out more info!

It looks like a deco piece…like maybe the 20s

Not sure about the first letters, but the end means its 10 karat gold.

I would say definitely vintage, but I couldn’t put a date on it. Possibly 1920 to 1940’s? 99% sure though that it’s all gold with rhodium plating for the two tone look.

Oh I love that, how fun! I don’t know how old it is, but it is very pretty!
This link talks about what various stamps in rings might mean…interesting read.

What a sweet ring! Definately vintage. I’d say somethwere btwn 20’s and 50’s. I would pop that on my right hand and never take it off 🙂
