duchessfriedrich :  Could it be? Sure.

But I don’t think you are 6DPO. Because there aren’t enough temperatures to detect a possible pattern/temp shift prior to ovulation, your chart does not indicate ovulation has actually happened. If I were basing a possible ovulation date off of the TCOYF rules (ovulation being the day after a temp shift that is .2-.4 degrees higher than the previous 6 temps), then I don’t think you ovulated until CD14. Your OPK would indicate the same.

Temperatures during your LP are much less stable than during the follicular phase. They will show many more temp drops, rises and it honestly doesn’t matter. Your hormones change a lot during your TWW and the main objective with temping is to see a bi-phasic pattern: your FP tems being lower than a coverline and your LP temps being (mostly) above it.

If anything, I would think the slight drop in your temps is due to a fall back rise – caused by estrogen – and having nothing to do with implantation.

ETA: A metallic taste in your mouth would not likely be due to implantation. It is a common first trimester pregnancy symptom, but it won’t usually occur until your HCG is high enough to give you other symptoms such as nausea or headaches and well after implantation occurs.
